3D view window not zooming on Linux v4

Just downloaded and upgraded to V4 Linux version, but cannot seem to zoom the 3D view window.

Tried recreating the pref file and re-untarred the the download, stillnot zoming (although hitting the "]" key does work, but that also zooms out the other windows).

Keys, Z and X.

Right hand mouse button works though, I can work with this, but not sure if z and x should do the same.

I'm not sure if z and x have ever worked in the 3d window.

You can use control up/down to zoom.

[ and ] don't do a zoom, they resize the selection + or - 10%.
