objects disappearing when zooming in windows version

I keep zooming in to a point in an ortho window until the objects disappears. I then keep zooming out but the point and objects never appears again. I need to do a view->fit all to get back the objects in the ortho window.

This also happens when doing view->fit selection with selected points that are very near each other. Zooming out does not show any of the objects. Only view-fit all will make the objects appear back in the orth window

I haven't been ble to duplicate this but zooming to extremes will push the limits of the floating point numbers in AC3D. This may cause operations to make sizes zero, when they may acually be extremely small numbers.
