The following error is seen during startup if polymake.p is in the plugins folder:

failed to load plugin '/home/exile/3D/editors/ac3d4.0/plugins/polymake.p'
error: /home/exile/3D/editors/ac3d4.0/plugins/polymake.p: undefined symbol: frac

Sorry - that plugin file shouldn't be in the Linux plugin pack. It has problems running under Linux.
