I have AC3D v 4.0.8, and my graphics card is an NVIDIA GeForce4 420 Go. I have two monitors, the one on my laptop and also a 1280x1024 external monitor. I am running windows XP. I have the monitors configured so that my desktop extends onto the second monitor (i.e., so the two can display different content). I find that AC3D doesn't function properly if I open its window on the external monitor. The viewing windows have artifacts and are unresponsive to the mouse movement. The buttons and menus seem to work, however, it is hard to know for sure since the windows do not seem even to be refreshing at all.

Hi,

I don't know if this helps, but I have maybe a simular setup and have no trouble running AC3D.

I basically used Nvidia's NView to configure the two monitors as a "horizontal span", which gives me a total screen of 2560x1024.

I used this setup with the following hardware:
Quadro FX1100
Geforce 4 4600
Geforce FX 5600
