Hey guys, hey Andy
Just stopped by to say how-do to everybody. I know it's been ages since I've posted or anything. I still stop by from time to time to see what's going on or to see the latest screen shots of everyone's work ( not enough! ).
The reason for my long absence is that it's been one heck of a year. I used to be a free-lance graphic artist living in Indiana, but the market for my work just went belly up. People just ran out of money and those who did have it were afraid to let go of it. I had no choice but to leave. The best I could hope for was to find some factory or wharehouse job making 9 or 10 bucks an hour so I thought that if that was the best I could do, I'd do it where it's warm.
Nevertheless I packed what little clothes I had in the front seat of my truck and headed to Florida to start all over again. I eventually found another job in the same field of work and was just starting to get on my feet again. That's about the time hurricane Ivan hit Pensacola. Suffice to say, my apartment got tore up big time so I'm starting over yet again.
There's still 30,000 people here that have no place to live so I'm competing against them for another apartment. Luckily the place where I work wasn't damaged and they were kind enough to let me stay here till I find another place to live. I still don't have a computer ( though I was in the process of building one ) or an internet account ( I'm posting this from a computer at work ) so if you try to e-mail me or anything, it wont get through. I had to remember my password and stuff to post.
3D modeling is one of my favorite past-times and I really miss it. It's going to be a long time before I can find another place to live and finish building my puter so I can get back to modeling or even updating my fan site and it's really bumming me out. Ah well, such is life.
Keep modeling
