The Wave plugin allows you to translate vertices to fit a standard sin wave based on user options.

EDIT: There is now a tutorial posted on the Wave page for this cartoon-fence.

This is a Windows-only plugin at the moment.

The Wave plugin is available at:

Note that the wave plugin does not add additional vertices, but works with existing ones only.

FYI - I already have an update to this utility posted. The utility was not group-aware before the first release.

This is fixed, so if you downloaded the utility prior to 7/5/2005 at 12pm EDT (4pm GMT), feel free to download again for the fix.

Hopefully this is the last update for a while --- 2 in one day is probably enough ;).

I allowed objects to be warped randomly on a per-object basis to achieve effects like the cartoonish fence added to the first post (above) with a couple of clicks.

Enjoy the newest version.

Once again, AJ MacLeod has been kind enough to port the wave plugin over to Linux.

He's provided e version for Gentoo x86, which we've made available at the above (original) website.

More importantly, the updated source code should compile under any Linux flavor - drop me a message if you have any problems here.
