You'll find a few of them in the 3DMax community, and although the commands may be a bit different, the same concepts apply.

do a google search, you'll find something.

This one seems to be a very good one, not too difficult. Check it

It starts with a box but you can start with a polyline as I've done myself.
Then it's all about extruding edges and putting them in a smart way.
Then when the whole shape of the car is done, start to modelize the details.
It's a good one.

hmmm would I be able to use the same information on that car tut with ac3d cause I notice that its mostly done in 3dsmax?

As I said, the 3D modeling concepts are pretty much the same but the "clicks" and "drags" and menu choices might be a little different. Just extrapolate them to AC3D. Don't get hung up on, "Go to Menu X and select "Name of Feature" so much, try to understand the basic concept of what primitives you're using, how you're manipulating them, and how you get them to look like a car, and not a collection of splines, boxes, cylinders and what have you.

Stiglr is absolutely right. Just extrapolate.

Don't wait for someone to write a car tut for AC3D or you will maybe wait for years

The basics are : a polyline or a rectangle --> edge extrusion --> smart edges placements --> edges extrusion --> smart edges placements ...
When the basic shape of the car is done, extrude the windows, etc ...

For AC3D you will have to use the CTRL+E command for edge extrusion, CTRL+T for snapping some vertices together if needed, ...

What I've done so far using the principles of the tut :

Same shape subdivided by 2 :

It's not that hard, it just takes a lot of time.
And I've still a lot of work to do as you can see.

I dont really have that much time since I been going to college doesn't look to hard lol but It seems I have a nac for making things more complicated then what they really are.
