tex editor question...How do you handle the mapping, say of an airplane, when the textures are in more than 1 file?

Thank you

The only way to do this in AC3D is to separate the model into separate objects based on the texture each surface will use (using Surface -> Cut away object).

The only drawback here is if creating such a break will cause seams along what should be smooth edges. Fortunately this doesn't come up often, as textures often contain enough data to cover entire solid pieces, but it does come up...

Dennis...What if I took the tex into photoshop and reduced the size to fit all on one page... Could I reduce the size of the model to fit and then map...Then when I bring it into Bryce I can resize it all...??Just a thought.

You could absolutely pull all the textures into a single image --- that's the best solution, if possible. You shouldn't have to resize your geometry at all though, just need to remap your UV coordinates in the Texture Coordinate Editor.

Hope that helps.
