Given these shots, I could have easily been tricked into thinking these were photos of bikes. Most excellent --- thanks for sharing!

I was just wondering about that because of the reflection on the floor. Don't think AC3d will do that. Love your textures. That's something I can't do myself.

I'm making a bike right now myself. It's a sci-fi hoverbike.

My latest model for those that are interested, 2007 gsx-r1000, made a few mods from standard bike (single exhaust, race footrest's) it's not quite finished yet.

that looks pretty have you ever thought about making a design concept of your own?

Claude9
3rd October 2006, 07:35 PM
Yeah i've thought about making my own design, what with all the parts i've made, but prefer to make replicas of real bikes

not to sound rude dont take it the wrong way.

but what extra details did you add. to me it looks like the same bike but with different textures.

which I must commend you for making the textures look real.

dont take this post the wrong way but I dont see much difference except texture. other than that nice job there man.

how do you learn to do such detailed models?

Do you have to take a class?

Claude9
10th July 2007, 04:10 PM
I'm self taught

Wow :)

I know us newbs are like leeches when it comes to knowledge, but do you have any references to the material you used to learn?

Or did you just keep playing around until you figured it out :)
