yes, those are good ways of adding detail I agree....but much harder to do
but modeling isnt the easyest thing to do either :wink:

yup, that does present a problem, but there are other ways of doing it.
just for thought:
- makeing a background "crease label", basicly just somthing with a crease value, and vertex/surface/edge refrence
- when you select a vertex, and "change" its crease value, what your acculy doing is assigning a "crease lable" to it
- then just use the labels when subdeviding
but yea, adding more surfaces works to.
also when was subdeviding first introduces in ac3d?
