If you WERE aware of "what it takes", you'd know not to press Andy for an estimate.

It is a fact of life in software that the coders often have NO IDEA how long it will take to get anything done; estimates are often off by months or years.

And by publicly putting an 'estimate' out there, it quickly becomes a 'promise' and then their feet are held to the fire for "lying about it".

We ALL want it today. But then, we all want to hit the lottery and retire.

There IS no estimate. That's your answer, I'm afraid.
