thanks for responding.

1)
i am just starting out in 3d modeling, i have a little cad background.
what i meant was,picture a sample cube, combine that with a simple pipe,like maybe .125 into one of the surfaces.

2) instead of typing english i should post a drawing, can one post a drawing from
ac3d to the form?
