Poseray is a complete frontend for povray with full features such as texturing, enviroment mapping etc all handle by Poseray with a full 3d preview window just like ac3d 3d window. Except for the obvious of course.

This front end has always been in the opengl source area and most think its for poser. Its will accept a few of the ac3d output formats and it gives you a 100% interface into povray. It makes using the povray scripting language obsolete its also free

for 98/xp/2000 Having photon mapping with 4 types of lighting and the usual texture panel for inc files makes it a must have for thoose that dont have an expensive raytracer to do the renders with.

You have nothing to lose unless you only have linux onboard Ive never tried it under wine.
