I recently bought the upgrade to 8.6.11. Since then a feature I use a great deal "export selection" is not working or is hanging AC3D 8.6.1.
I've only experimented for wavefront.obj.

In 8.6.11, if using whatever the library comes up in the dialogue, the message "obj_export: cannot open output file <filename>" displays, with no output resulting. If I "browse" to select the library the windows-explorer-type dialogue hangs with "working on it" in the detail pane. I have let this dialogue wait for up to 20 minutes while I did other things, but nothing. In the end I have to terminate AC3D.

On my first few back-test attempts with the old 8.5.55, the export crashed the program, but I've since been able to export both some small and quite large meshes, so not sure what the issue was there.
