Yes - those tools are much the same but in a more handy place. With all these tools, AC3D is a powerful texturing program on its own.

If you are mapping a ready created texture, as it looks like, you may be better with a planar mapping for the left and right sides of the fuselage. Then position the maps over the existing fuselage side images you have.

If you want to create a mapping where you later create a texture image from, you can use the LCSM function (on the main TCE control panel). You'll need to do some stretching and rotating of the result but the LCSM algorithm will layout the texture surfaces to represent the surface area better.

Please excuse my 20 second fuselage model used in this example.
