Thank you for your replies. I am finding out that AC3D has excellent support. As a beginner, the amount of information available (on 3D Modeling Software) to me is staggering. It's difficult to find out what I really need to know-- but the number of folks who have already chosen AC3D for flight sim development is quite high, and that's a good sign.
