thanks for the immediate reply!
To measure the distance between two vertices is working so far, so I have to insert the corresponding arrows on each side of the part by hand and add the measure as text. Not very sophisticated but thats working. The distance is given in arbitrary units, right? So I have to decide at the beginning of a drawing which scale I want to use and at the end I have to put the correct scaling on the plan by measuring the distances multiplied by my chosen scale.
The second thing with the 'boolean' will take some time to try...
