While the "Export selected object" plug-in was clunky, this functionality was a big part of my work-flow for making 3d printed objects with multiple sub-assemblies. The plug-in doesn't appear to work in the 8.3.21 Beta. I'd love it if you could find a way to build it into the program, or at least restore support for the plug-in. Thanks!
