Default Re: The dumbest question

Couple things that should help:

- Try adding some lights. I think the button is there looking at the rim highlights, it's just too dark to see.

- Switch to a white background. Adding a skydome with a white material with the ambience set to 100% is the easiest way. Even if it's too dark, you should at least see a black button that way to spot where it is so you can adjust the camera if need be. (You'll need to make this change in the output povray file, or you can change it in the include file that AC3D uses. You'll find more info about the include file in the advanced settings dialog.)

- Use a material other than glass, at least until your have your lights and camera setup. The problem with glass and especially metal is that they reflect the background environment--sometimes too much. If you have a plain background, the reflections can make the object hard to see. Reflective materials work best with a busy background like a sky.

I hope that helps!
