i can't seem to find an answer to this question in any of the forum posts, tutorials etc. so it must be something very basic i'm missing here.
i load a texture on to an object, - a .jpg image.
using Object/Texture/Load Texture
then save the 'textured' object in .ac format.
when the file is reopened i get the mesage
'i need a filename with a suffix eg file.rgb'
the msg. does show the directory ~/texture
but not the subdirectory eg ~/texture/metal
can someone point me in the right direction?
