Are you looking for the AC3D-supplied "Adjust object centres..." utility (under the Tools menu in AC3D 5.0)? Or is what you're looking for something different?

This one's sneaky. When you type in new coordinates, make sure to hit the "Enter" key to have the coordinates accepted. imho, the property editor box could really use an "apply" button ...
