On my side I've noticed that sometimes if you click on the edge of 2 adjacent surfaces (in surface mode), then it selects both surfaces ...
But I think it's cool like that.
Same thing for vertices selection in vertex mode.
If you click between 2 vertices and the camera if far away from them, both vertices are selected.
Then again I think it's cool like that.
