Default Re: Fokker V.1 for Fokker Museum

The project continues, the latest is a test of building a virtual world for the models to live in, based on actual buildings. For the test I'm using the hangar from Achim Engels in Schorndorf along with some other objects. Here is my visit report to his workshop, where I spent two weeks of great fun.

Here are the first test results: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2nrhHL20jQk

The models are made with AC3D, the virtual world with 3D Rad.

In time the Fokker Virtual Museum will contain all the buildings form the Schwerin-Gorries site and be populated with aircraft and other objects of interest. I ahve thanks to Achim a lot of historical documents from the site and I've managed to get hold of a series of period photos of the factory.

This is going like a set of reference models, and in time will form the basis of a real museum on the original site.
