Default KMZ Format

Sorry.
I am attempting to create three dimensional objects/buildings to be used in 'Google Earth Plus'.
(Its a free world photomap from satelitte from Google)

Can be found at http://earth.google.com/

The program has a built-in polygon maker and the result can be extruded to form simulations or likenesses of buildings, but is quite limited.

3dS files can be exported to another routine (that does not seem to work) and the resultant *.kmz file can be used to bring Google Earth to life by having close approximations to the actual buildings. Quite neat.
I reasoned that AC3d, a program I love using, could export in kmz format as well. Google publish the vertex priority and the method to be used for assembling visible faces. Alas, it is beyond my scope and I wondered if anyone else had been able to write a routine to allow AC3D to export in kmz format.
What would I need to be able to create a plugin? Never done that... I dont have a C Compiler, though I am capable of working in MS VB.

Can anyone help?

Kizzie.
