No its not that.
The wireframes in any one of the ortho windows vanish and wont appear again,
ie Top view has wireframes but sidewiew doesnt.
They disappear if I zoom a view after inserting a vertex.

This is the problem that started as I (and others) followed your tutorial. Its covered in my thread at TW, admitadly under my old sig. Its covered in depth in my thread here but so far I cant get any advice.
