1-Intel Extreme Graphics2 for Mobile, they're in a few laptops. Tried both the original drivers AC3D once worked with, and the latest from Intel.

2-Doesnt matter which model. Quickest way to make them vanish is to create a box, select two corner vertex,insert vertex, then zoom any ortho window. The wireframes will vanish in that window and nothing will make that window display wireframes again.
