Default Re: Chicago-Class Starship

I'd be interested in hearing how that drive works. I know that the Transpace drive used in the Avenger class uses Barbatic radiation to form a warp bubble that causes the starship to slide through subspace into transpace.

Note: In typical warp travel, velocity in c is equal to approximately the cube of the warp factor. In transpace, velocity in c is equal to ten to the warp factor (a logarithmic scale).

Does this drive use any new exotic particles or does it work with a new configuration of components?
