Hi All

IM new to this software and Im wondering if anyone can direct me to a thread, article, help or just answer this Q?

I have designed a simple object, I want to render a skin in photoshop, how do I create a map? and export it to photoshop for rendering? I will then need to return it to the object but I can learn that part at a later date.

all help appreciated.

as this is a first post by way of introduction, Im a concept artist for a game company, "the figure trader" but we only make physical models, sculpted by hand and all my work has been 2d. Im looking at changing all that with some 3d models for our brochures and game book diagrams.
