Re: adding texture
Hi,
to create a map you have to use the Texture Coordinate Editor (TCE) and why not the UV map plugin (tools/uv map) if you need it.
You may want to look at the "texturing" section in the help file, and at the "texture coordinate editor" section as well (below the "texturing" section).
When you will have finished uv mapping your model, in the TCE choose "window/copy image ..." and then paste that image in your painting program.
If you want to save that image as a BMP image file in AC3D, I think Dennis has written a plugin for that.
When your skin will be painted, select your model (object) in AC3D and choose "object/texture/load texture" ... and load that skin.
