Yep, for anyone with a WWI tuned eye, those interwing struts are a give-away.
Thanks for the encouragement.
There's a natural instinct to show one's finished masterpieces and to keep our fumblings private. I was thinking about that and decided to do this here as a WIP in the hope that I and others might learn a tip or two.
So I'm showing it flaws n all and welcome discussion.
I'm already unhappy with the frame bracing. I sketched it in without paying att to detail measurements of the upright and crossmembers and think they'll want some adjustment. Look a bit crude atm.
A lot of that comes from not thinking through before starting what I wanted to result in. For the moment though, I'm happy to watch and see what it grows into.
First mistake is to start modelling before all research is in hand. Some plans n books due next week, so there'll probably be some changes then. :lol:
For now It'll continue low poly.



Tip #1. When taking a pic of your model in 3D view, take the time to toggle
AA on. Results in a much better grab.
