Default Re: GLBasic

Hi Thierry,

I am a glbasic user and just returning to ac3d after quite a while not using it.
ac3d indeed is the recommended 3D software for glbasic.

I am just starting on a 3D project, and what I have found so far is that the ac3d .ddd / .ddw exporter is far easier than that workflow I was using with the 3D Convert tool.

I have not done enough with my project yet to want to show any screenshots yet.

That said, ac3d and glbasic so far for me seem to cooperate well.

As far as glbasic, well it depends on your taste and your requirements for a programming language.

That said, if you are looking for an easy to use game development basic flavor, glbasic is certainly one of the choices worth looking at.

I have been using glbasic for a couple of years now, among other languages, and glbasic is always fun to work with, its developer is very active in supporting it, and it easily supports a wide range of targets.

I would say download the free version and give it a try to see if it is for you, but I certainly don't regret buying it.

Hope this helps.

Regards,
Dave
