Default Game Dev Suggetions!

Hi Andi,

I have a few suggetions for AC3D that would make life easyer as a game developer(hobbie).

- Not Only Advanced Light(spot light, directional lights, ect..) but how about MultiTexturing for Light & Shadow maps and other multiTexture effects, this would be awsome. You could have each object save a NumOfTextures variable and just have a list of texture Directorys with a new set of UV cords for each Vertex. This would make it much easyer when doing any UpToDate Project, most games now never have single-texture mapped levels and objects.

- How about Reflection Maps and/or BumpMaps (I know the difucultys in doing this) mainly for Pov-Ray rendering, but not excluding Real Time Game Dev.

- Animation, very usful, would like to see it save as seperate bone files(with key Frames, ect..) with a Directory to it in the main .ac file.

- Object Centers that you could set with the mouse
- Surface level Hiding/locking (very useful!!)
- A Push/Pull/Smooth Tool for Hight Polygon Models(this might not do well since it would probly only work in the 3ds veiw, but it might be doable)
- A Scale Button in the Texture Cordinate Editor

- (just a thought) A Trigger Object with a Location, Name, Data, and Bounding Box and/or Bounding Sphere, wich would be used to trigger a seguence in a game.

Well thats my ideas, they would realy help me!
Any Comments would be nice.

thank you.

an ac3d fan, always

Philip

(I would Just Like to Take the Time To say) AC3D is the best modeller out there, totally worth the money, easy, and fast, I cant wait to see the next updates.
