Default Re: Noob Question: Working with text

Hi I am new, but solved this problem like this:

Draw a circle , and lock it. Now create a desired name with a dash between all letters. make each letter an object and place it on the circle at 90 dgrees or desired. In that way you can shift each letter. It is also usefull to have some alfabets that you can import to sellect the letters you want and rotate them to place.
No biggie but a fast way to move letters in the place you want.
you don't need to draw the circle, it can be any shape, it was just to explain how I do it if a name has to be put circular.
Hope it helps a bit

Creating round shapes: I do adjust to the amount of segments in relation to the amount of letters in some cases to better adjust the letter space!
Setting the letters I use rotate over y. make each letter object is needed.
