Default Re: Problems with DDS-Textures

Hi mconn1,

Thanks, at least a reply, although it doesn't help. Is there also somebody on this forum who is responsible?

I have bought AC3D some time ago and spent $ 69.95. I would like to work with this software. But now I have spent another $ 29.95 to upgrade because I need x file and dds support and on the features page it's written:

Quote:
Texture/background image file formats supported:
* GIF
* JPG
* PNG
* BMP
* DDS
* PPM
* TGA (Targa)
* TIF
and

Quote:
# Supports many output/input formats including
* 3D-studio 3DS
* Lightwave LWO
* Alias triangle
* DXF
* VRML1 and 2 and Inventor
* Povray
* Renderman RIB
* Triangles
* Direct X
* Milkshape
* Quake 3 bsp
* MD2
* Wavefront OBJ
* OFF
* stl (ascii)
* sof (airfoil)
* SMF
* T3D
* LDRAW .ldr (Lego)
And now I must note that there's no x file import, the x file export seems to be as outdated as the dds support and I can't use the x files generated with AC3D before converting them with another software and the promised dds dxt formats don't work in AC3D. Really great! I feel really cheated!!!

So, if there's also somebody on this forum, who is responsible for the software, remove these lies on your features page and don't cheat even more buyers!
