Exactly. Just re-texture the object.

It's best to do it "part by part". Select each part, remap it in TCE from one particular angle and align it to the proper part of the texture.

For sides which are perpendicular to the side you mapped it from, you can then select just those parts in Surface Select mode, deselect the others and return to the TCE and re-map those from a better perspective.

One question I might also ask is, where are you getting your texture files from, and how are they constructed? The way a texture is laid out can both help and hinder the texturing process.
