Maybe there already is and I havent found it yet, but it would be nice to have a key when pressed move the cursor in toward the object. (i.e.; example: I pull a line up from 0, 0, 0 and take it to 0, 5, 0; then while holding the the cursor there, push a button and it moves it in to 0, 5, 8. So that the line end points are actually; begpt:0, 0, 0 and endpt:0, 5, 8) Don't know if this is clear as mud or if I explained it well. The example may be just a diagonal line and is simple to do by itself but this simple function on older 3D-CAD software was a most excellent tool, and allowed mutiple vertex surfaces across many planes without breaking the polyline.
