Interesting.. i just created a cube 10cubed and brought it into rhino (set the rhino app units to mm) the cube measures 10mm BUT if i set the rhino units then repeat the import process to metres it reads it as 10m

However if i repeat the same proceedure in 3dmax when i set the app units to metres it reads 10m BUT if i set the app units to mm it reads 1000mm

So it seems safer to use metres as the file units or think of units in ACD3 as metres..
