Hey, great start. When i was new to ac3d I wasn't new to the world of 3d modelling, so your doing pretty well. One tip i will give to save you alot of time. I notice in your earllier model that you used POLYLINES in between the wings. I would reccomend using a solid object or drawing a disk and "EXTRUDING ALONG PATH" (thats a handy tool if you would like an explination) Reason being, when you come to do your final render, Polylines will not be visible, as they do not have normals and reflect no light! I found this out the hard way when I was designing the HMS Aleksandra which you can see on this very forum. Anyway if you start doing that now you can save alot of fannying about later!
