help animatable door
im thinking of making a starship and animating it but how would I make an animatable door, would you like make a hole then put a rectangle infront of it?

Depends on what you are going to use to animate it... different exporters have different requirements. Most of them, though, just need each part as it's own mesh object.
You might also need to adjust the object centers so that the door rotates correctly from the edge instead of from the center. |

i changed the starship idea into an F-22 raptor, but i needed a tranlucent cockpit canopy any help on that?...i no it has nothing to do with an animated door but thats what im working at atm

Lol. Np.
To make an object translucent, first apply a material from the palette by selecting the object, then left clicking on the material color in the lower left area of the screen. After you've applied a material, you can make it translucent by right-clicking on the material and selecting Edit Material. Slide the Transparency slider to make the material more or less opaque. |
