Here is a very simple example to force AC3D crash:
- open file - select all - choose "Object - Boolean - Cut away" The object is not cut away rather AC3D itself... Uli |

Confirmed. It's because both objects aren't closed 3D shapes - which they should be for those boolean operations at the top of the menu.
