how do I make transparent canopy of the plane?
I'm drawing a model, and would like to know how to make transparent as glass. can someone help me? ![]() |

Easy.
Use materials. The default #8 is ideal for this, as it's already a light blue. Or use one of the light grays #14 & 15 come to mind. some armored glass can have a yellowish or green hue, so maybe choose something like that... 1) Select the canopy in object mode. 2) In the bottom left interface, find the material (color) picker, pick a material, and assign it to the canopy. Right click the material number "swatch". On the pop up menu, move the transparency slider to the right, well into the 90% range. The material will become nearly completely see through.

One more question... Is there any difference between the colors blue and gray, to do the transparency? |
