Hello all, I am brand new to this forum, AC3D, and to modeling itself. I have just finished my first real model. (Besides making a simple cup, house from the tutorials.) It is a simple biplane, which I know is not very real life-istic, but this is my first attempt at modeling again.
As this is my first original piece, comments and feedback of any kind would be greatly appreciated. Without further ado, here they are some pics: ![]() and ![]() Thank you. ![]() |

For the fuselage, did you use subdivision on it? If so, more power to you haha. I've been working with AC3D for a while now and didn't fully learn the merits of subdivision until recently. Now it's what I use for all my models.

![]() My only intent was to be encouraging. *Everyone's* first models are rough... yours is not bad at all for a beginner. Most of my first models were made just out of boxes. [EDIT](PS. I wanted, too, to let you know that people were checking it out! I know it always sucks to get no replies to something you did... I just wanted to say something positive!)[/EDIT] Last edited by lisa; 31st December 2007 at 02:59 AM. |

Well I'm sorry also if I looked like I didn't appreciate your comment. I do/did appreciate it, and from what I've seen of the forums so far, I can tell that it may be a little challenging to get feedback. All I meant was that I know it's not amazing but we knew that anyway. ![]() Anyways thanks again, and I'm still working so there will be more to come. ![]()
