Forgive me for this, I bet this has been asked plenty of times before but how do I get povray to work with AC3D?
Povray fires up but I get no render and a 'scene file parser initialization error. Cannot open input file' message. As far as I can see I have AC3D set up as per manual. Where am I going wrong?? Many thanks Paul[/img] |

I'm not familiar wit hthe process, but Woody (a member of the AC3D community) posted a "help guide" a while back:

Thanks for the link, but I too have always had problems with rendering from AC3D. Followed woody's set up to the letter, no joy. I have to export the ac3d file to povray, open the povray application, open file and run. This works fine but manipulation of the textures and other perameters is impossible for a novice like me.The only difference in woodys set up and mine is that I am running povray 3.6 not 3.5. Could this be the reason for conficts? Does anyone have any tried and tested povray set ups for 3.6? Cheers.
