I'm working on hair for a model. Right now I have the hair as one object, and the head as another object. Right now my procedure is:
1) Delete the head 2) Export the hair 3) Undo the deletion 4) Save the scene Either I need a way to set the head to not export, or an Export Object option...perhaps by right-clicking on the object. |

There's a "save selection" menu item... will that do what you need?

Save selection, open the new AC3D model, then export to 3DS, job done.

argh, now that I totally need this functionality like 100 times over, Dennis' page seems to be suspended.
