platform compatibility
hi, i recently got ahold of 27 SGI Indy R5000's and i created a diskless cluster that network boots from a x86 debian head. i've been looking at creating a render farm with POV ray running on top of PVM, but i'm having trouble finding out if POV ray can run on the MIPS architecture (specifically the MIPS IV found in the R5000...and possibly the R4000 series as well). does anyone know if this setup will work?
thanks for your time |

I can't remember exactly but I'm sure I had Povray working on the SGI's I used to use.
Try compiling it and see how it goes. Andy |
