Any advice on move from SketchUp to AC3D?
I have building musical equipment in SketchUp Pro but now I want to move to something more advanced and be able to upload images to Second Life. I was hoping somebody might have some tips on the transition and/or some links to tutorials on easing my way into it. Also is there a render preview that I am overlooking?

Re: Any advice on move from SketchUp to AC3D?
I'm not a SketchUp user so I can't really offer any advice there, but for the render preview you'll need an external renderer. AC3D comes pre-configured to use PovRAY (hit F7 for the render menu) which you can download here: http://www.povray.org/download/
Here is a list of other free stand-alone renderers: http://www.independentdeveloper.com/...rendering_soft |
