Hello,
Can someone in the know tell me how to: 1. Load up the primatives menu with my own object sets? (I find myself using the same object sets from saved files, but I'd like to speed this up.) 2. Where is the torus primative? Is one available and I've just missed it? 3. Set the info window in the upper-left to display measurement units (ft/in) instead of XYZ position? Thank you, Cheers. |

Not easily possible. It would take a lot of hacking of the TCL/TK files (in AC3D/tcl) and even then, you wouldn't have control of the object placement. I recommend you use the File->Object-library. 2. Where is the torus primative? Is one available and I've just missed it? Simply create an Ellipse object and use Object->revolve. 3. Set the info window in the upper-left to display measurement units (ft/in) instead of XYZ position? AC3D's units are fixed (some use them as feet, some use them as metres) but if you want to set the grid so that you are editing feet and inches, you can set the snap grid to 0.083333 (which is 1/12) so you get 12 grid squares of 1 inch inside one foot.
