How do you get landing gear strut compression from AC3D to work in X-Plane ?
I'm using make translation and datarefs sim/flightmode/parts/tire_vrt_def_veh. It works correctly in AC3D but does not compress in X-Plane when brakes are applied. This is on retractable landing gear. AC3D 6.2 & X-Plane 8.61 Thanks for any help Reed Jensik Last edited by rjensik; 11th December 2007 at 02:28 PM. Reason: delete |

I've had the same problem and I'm using the same dataref file that you are. My gear just kind of sink into the ground. What's missing?

It works for me.
Did you append the index number to the dataref value? e.g. if you wnt your animation listen to oleo compression on the nose gear strut (which often will be the first one specified in Planemaker) you need to enter the dataref like this: sim/flightmode/parts/tire_vrt_def_veh[0] [1] would be gear strut #2, you get the idea. peter Quote:
