Problems Exporting to Photoshop
I am trialling AC3D.
The interface is intuitive as advertised and I would like to use the program but I can't export to Photoshop (CS3) which is why I want the program in the first place. I want to create simple 3D objects then render them in Photoshop mixed in with other graphics for use in websites. When I export to .obj format the model does not show up at all. When export to 3DS the model shows up but without any textures - it just appears grey. Adding lights to the scene in AC3D has not effect. Thanks in advance for any help. |

Re: Problems Exporting to Photoshop
when using textures for 3ds files, use short filenames (8.3 style) and make sure the texture is in the same folder. Also make sure that the texture file format eg png, is supported by the 3ds loader. Lights are not exported in 3ds files - just the geometry.
