Nice ship. Textures looks good, and so does the colors. What do you use to render it in?

Ok. I have used Bryce for many years and its a nice program. A bit dated now thoug. Carrara is the way to go now if you want a much better progy. The "Landing platform" is rendered in Carrara.

DAZ is having a sale right now.
Decent price on Carrara and other things. Platinum Club members get an extra good deal. Yesterday I bought Carrara 5 and Transposer 2 bundled and it cost me a few pennies less than $100. Plus I got a $25 voucher to use on other stuff. http://www.daz3d.com/ |

I got Bryce 5.5 about three months ago but didn't get much of a chance to work with it to learn it. Then Carrara goes on sale (sale over monday I think) and I almost didn't get it because I'd already gotten Bryce. But everyone said Carrara is better so I went ahead and got it. I can already see that it is better. And I don't think it's going to be hard to pick up since the interface is very, very similar to Bryce's.

well I never really used anything like bryce or carrara lol sadly I had help with the rendered pictures since I'm thinking about getting one or the other. Any ideas on which one is better or worse or indifferent. I would like to know so as I'm not getting a bad product. but from what I hear there both pretty good when it comes to rendering

Forget about Bryce. Its to old. Carrara is the future when it comes to render speeds and global illumination and all the stuff you dont have in Bryce. Bryce have its followers, and a HUGE community, but as I said, its old. I see alot of Brycers switching to Carrara now because the upgrading of Bryce are getting a bit foggy now, Daz buying Eovia and all. Many people think Daz will put theyr mony on Carrara insted and slowly move Bryce out of the way.
